Stipe position should be assessed on mature fruit-bodies. If the position varies from immature to mature fruit-bodies, record this feature from the mature fruit-bodies. When the stipe is not central, it may be quite short in relation to the pileus diameter.

Choose this state if: the stipe is central, or only very slightly excentric.
