Pileus splitting through lamellae trama: no
images/Pileus_splitting_through_lamellae_trama_no/Pileus_splitting_through_lamellae_trama_-_no.jpg
Observe the pileus surface for radial splits extending from the pileus margin inwards. Look carefully to see if the splits are just through the pileus surface, in which case see Pileus surface (cracks, pits or wrinkles), or if the splits extend into the flesh of the underlying lamellae.

Choose this state if: there are no radial splits in the pileus surface; or, if there are splits, then they are between the lamellae, and do not continue into the lamellae. An intact face of a lamella or lamellulae will be visible on either side of the split.
