This feature refers to the shape of the pileus centre, rather than the overall shape of the pileus.

Choose this state if: there is a deep depression in the centre of the pileus, like a well or navel (another term is umbilicate), or else the whole pileus is uplifted (infundibuliform) so that the centre of the pileus is much lower than the margin.
