Lamellae edge with gelatinous thread: yes
images/Lamellae_edge_with_gelatinous_thread_yes/Lamellae_edge_glutinous_thread_-__present.jpg
Observe this feature by turning over the fruit-body and looking at the lamellae side-on at an angle, or by removing a single lamella. Use a x5 hand lens to inspect the lamellae edge closely against the light.

Choose this state if: there is a narrow gelatinous thread along the edge of the lamellae. The thread may be colourless (hyaline) or coloured. When a lamella is held up to the light, the thread along the edge is translucent compared to the rest of the lamella. The thread may be easily detachable.

This state occurs rarely in Hygrocybe and Mycena, always in association with a viscid or glutinous stipe and pileus.
