Observe this feature by turning over the fruit-body and looking at the lamellae side-on at an angle, or by removing a single lamella. Use a x5 hand lens to inspect the lamellae edge closely against the light.

Choose this state if: there is no gelatinous thread along the edge of the lamellae.
