When keying out agarics from your backyard or the local park, it is useful to have a subset of genera that are found in urban areas.

There are very few agaric genera that are only found in cities, but about one-third of genera do not occur in urban areas.

Choose this state if: fruit-bodies are found in urban areas or gardens. These are fungi that occur in backyards, nature strips, parks and gardens. Also included under this state are gardens around farms and disturbed areas such as bush picnic grounds (where there is a large clearing and areas of exotic grasses). For urban bushland remnants, choose no.
