Growth habit: caespitose

Growth habit refers to a combination of the density of fruit-bodies and whether they are single or in tight clusters.

Choose this state if: fruit-bodies grow in dense clusters, with a group of stipes arising from the same point. However, the bases of the stipes are not fused (as when connate).

Sometimes one of the fruit-bodies in a caespitose cluster may be much larger than the others.
