Cheilocystidia branching: diverticulate
images/Cheilocystidia_branching_diverticulate/Cystidia_branching-diverticulate.jpg
This feature relates to the presence of few to many branches (or protuberances) on the cheilocystidia, irrespective of the overall shape (Cheilocystidia shape) and any apical modifications (Cheilocystidia apex shape). Branches can be apical, or along the length of cheilocystidia.

Choose this state if: there are few to many branches present but they are neither short (nodulose) nor long and apical (digitate). Branches can be quite irregular or secondarily branched (antler-like, dendrophysoid or having a Rameales-structure).
