Caulocystidia branching: diverticulate
images/Caulocystidia_branching_diverticulate/Cystidia_branching-diverticulate.jpg
This feature relates to the presence of few to many branches (or protuberances) on the caulocystidia, irrespective of the overall shape (Caulocystidia shape) and any apical modifications (Caulocystidia apex shape). Branches can be apical, or along the length of caulocystidia.

Choose this state if: there are few to many branches present but they are neither short (nodulose) nor long and apical (digitate). Branches can be quite irregular or secondarily branched (antler-like, dendrophysoid or having a Rameales-structure).
